The Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) has launched the Artisan Training Scheme for Batch No. 56, inviting applications for 150 artisan positions. This initiative aims to equip young individuals with essential skills in various technical fields, fostering a skilled workforce essential for the country’s industrial growth.

Eligibility Criteria mandates candidates to have completed Matriculation with Science, with a minimum 2nd division. Candidates aged between 17 to 21 years as of December 02, 2024, are eligible. Preference is given to those with FSc or DAE qualifications, enhancing their chances during selection. Training will occur at the Pakistan Ordnance Factories Institute of Technology (POFIT) in Wah Cantt, lasting 1.5 years. During this period, apprentices will receive a stipend that increases progressively: starting at Rs. 7,615 per month in the first semester, rising to Rs. 12,184 by the third semester.
